Bill Porter is an international speaker, author, and leadership consultant. In addition for the past 38 years, Bill has been an active financial planning practitioner and he is a former instructor of estate planning and taxation. From 1989 to 2001, he and his family lived and worked in Europe. Many of his clients are located in countries around the world. As a result of his international experiences as an American citizen, Bill offers a unique circumspection that is so relevant to many of the issues that confront America today. Bill’s education includes a BS and a Master of Education. He is also a Doctoral Candidate at The George Washington University and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Jan Porter is Bill’s wife and best friend. They have been married for 33 years and have two children and two grandchildren. Their daughter Cindi, is the president of Aileron Investment Advisors, and Bill’s partner in their financial planning practice.
Bill latest book, 24 Investment Strategies — It’s Your Move was co-written with his daughter, Cindi. After nearly 50 years of collective experience as financial planners, they have condensed two dozen investment lessons and ideas into an easy to read, but extremely informative book that can be a benefit to all investors.
One of Bill's other recent books, Presidential Lessons Learned — Follow the Leader assesses the leadership strengths and weaknesses of the last four Democratic presidents. He has spent the last four years researching presidential leadership in order to identify successful strategies that can help to solve America’s pressing issues. The results were unexpected and profound.
